Eden Spiritual Care Online Class/Retreat

Disclosure Statement

This online class/retreat, offered online through Eden Spiritual Care, is designed for spiritual and personal growth and enrichment. Neither the content of this class/retreat nor any feedback from the instructor/facilitator or other participants is a substitute for psychological assessment, counseling, or treatment, nor is it legal guidance. Neither the instructor/facilitator, Eden Spiritual Care, nor Eden Spiritual Care’s board members have legal responsibility for any action or omission you may take as a result of participating in this class/retreat or as a result of interacting with the instructor/facilitator or other participants.

Furthermore, any opinions or beliefs presented in this class/retreat do not necessarily reflect the opinions and/or beliefs of each individual member of the Eden Spiritual Care board.

If this class involves interaction, the instructor/facilitator will keep what you share in this class/retreat confidential, not disclosing the content of what you share unless required to by law, or unless the instructor/facilitator perceives you are seriously harming yourself or another individual, or thinking of doing so.

The instructor/facilitator may also provide general reports on this class to Eden Spiritual Care board members, donors, and other supporters, but in these instances will keep your name anonymous and focus on general themes rather than specific, identifying details of anything you have shared.

Participation in the class/retreat is a privilege and not a right. Eden Spiritual Care is not obligated to maintain your registration in this class/retreat. If the instructor feels that you are not abiding by any class/retreat policies (unique to each class/retreat and listed on that class/retreat website), that you are disrupting the learning and growth of other participants in this class/retreat, or you are otherwise using this class/retreat for purposes beyond your own growth and enrichment, the instructor/facilitator can remove you from the class at any point.

You as participant are not obligated to continue this class/retreat for its stated duration, but may remove yourself from the class/retreat at any point. If you elect to discontinue participation in a class/retreat that involves group participation, please notify the instructor.  

All course/retreat materials, unless otherwise stated, are subject of copyright(s) registered to Eden Spiritual Care. Reuse of any materials without permission from the instructor is prohibited. Please contact Eden Spiritual Care if there is something you would like to modify and reuse, or reuse in its original form.

This class/retreat is offered free of charge, in keeping with Eden Spiritual Care’s goal of making spiritual formation opportunities widely accessible. As a class participant you are under no obligation to make a donation to Eden Spiritual Care, and are encouraged to sign up for additional classes, even without making a donation. If you do choose to make a donation to Eden Spiritual Care, those funds will go toward future work of Eden Spiritual Care, and any amount over the suggested donation (varies for each class/retreat) will be qualified as a tax-deductible donation under IRS 501(c)(3), as no goods are services are exchanged.
